Just wondering if the Pro1 is still a formidable P&S against the current crop of the P&S offerings from Canon like the A710 or the S3 IS?

Peanut1181 Hatchling 4 posts Joined Jan 2007 More info | The Pro1 has a far superior lens to the S3 IS in terms of quality. In fact, it is the best lens of all the powershots in terms of pic quality. The S3 IS has the edge in optical zoom though. For the price of the Pro1 though I'd be considering the Rebel XT instead. Just a thought. Happy hunting.
