There were no problems except that they thoroughly searched my hand luggage (Lowepro backpack) after seeing my Giotto rocket blower on the X-ray screen! I had to agree with them that it does look rather like a rocket propelled grenade! I'd have terrible experiances with checking baggage, damange loss etc. Sure you can get $ from the airline but the time and hassel is just not worth it for me. My bag seemed to spend a long time in the machine. I think the operator stopped the belt and used diferent settings to examine my bag because of all the lenses and stuff.
