Sporting Event Contracts

If there is a sporting event coming up that you would like to contract with how would you go about it. To put it in writing that you are going to be the only photographer and also have in there how much of your profits will go towards the people putting the event together? Does anyone have any of these sample contracts or know how to write them up?
any help would be appreciated.
