I use it as a photoshop plugin, after applying Noise Ninja, you can go under the edit menu and you will see a choice 'Fade Noise Ninja', click on this and it will bring up a slider to adjust the opacity of the level allowing some noise back into the image to give it a more realistic/less plastic look...

Thanks for explaining that to me, looks to be quite a useful function - sadly I only use photoshop elements and that option doesn't pop up.
Think I might have found a way around it, by creating a duplicate layer and applying NN and changing opacity on the duplicate layer before merging them - will have a play and see what I can do.
