Just a random thought but the guy is in Barcelona.. hopefully dancing the tango with some spanish ladies, drinking a bit of wine, having some good food and taking lots and lots and lots of door and window pictures.. I'm starting to miss the old guy.. really want to see his pictures, still moderately jealous that he went to Spain for Christmas.. I bet Mr. Petey is starting to be at loose ends without his buddies comments on a regular basis..

I think he posted in the 'disappointed sigma 30mm ' thread over in lenses - so either he is back home or so bored in Barcelona that he is in an internet cafe....

Na, sure he had a great time. Why shouldn't he?

BTW I just checked, and 10 hours ago he posted ' I was in Barcelona for 5 days. so he is back, just not online.

By the way that pretty fishmonger's daughter looks at you, I'd say you might have been a naughty boy there somwhere before you took that parting shot.

...What, apart from the lovely young ladies, the climate, the food, and from what I've quickly looked at from your recent posts, the architecture... ;)

Welcome back Dave!

Well I'm sure she was interested which is only to be expected   Joking aside, that woman was so beautiful that I was literally shocked into a double take when I first saw her serving behind the counter of a fish stall - man, Lorek needs to head in that direction. She was quite stunning in every single respect.

Thanks ... and Spanish ladies are like ladies everywhere: come in all shapes and sizes, etc. They do seem to smile a lot tho' which is always nice and sign of a good, secure upbringing I always think. Maybe they were just laughing at me tho' ;)

Welcome back Dave!

Cheers Mon Oncle ... I only really went for the Gaudí, which never disappoints, and to escape the rancidly over-commercialised Christmas we 'enjoy' in the UK. Much more laid back and real over there. Maybe they just have more taste! The Paella sucked tho'

Some shots here here here and here

I have loads but have ran out of PPing steam at the moment :-)

well, no. Actually I thought he went out to poop and was eaten by hyenas or some other animal that would eat rotten flesh.

Oh, wait, he is not in africa is he. Spain is it?

OK, no. Actually I thought he went to the running of the bulls and was trampled violently. Wait, cant BS a bull. Hmm...

Ok, no. Actually I thought he was still in the UK and beaten up by some hooligans and kept saying, "I said SPAIN not PAIN!".

Well, that does not work either does it?

I have to go take my medication.....

The level of your manifest aggression has been escalating as of late.
You perhaps need a hobby to fill your idle moments. Try photography.....I mean picture taking....you do seem to have a starter gear kit already......so use it, boy.

Our campadre eL Dente is trying to develop the art of sarcasm ... indulge him a while ;) Remember, he is of the 'Disneyland is cool and perfect in an AmeriKan Dream kinda way' crowd so he has much to work through before he can see reality through anything other than a gaussian blur of romancia-vision (tm). Only when he can draw back that curtain and see will he truly be able to move forward and achieve the heights of the art. Flipping burgers in that take-away of his could be the ideal meditation along this difficult path.
