My daughter needed a film camera for a class in college. Picked up a Canon refurbished Rebel G at Samys for about $100. Basically the film equivalent of the XT.

Check out www.keh.com (external link). They have some great deals on film cameras and are a great company to deal with.

I am not sure how inexpensive you want but the Elan 7's are very nice and can be found for under $200.00

EOS650 was the first EOS body. Pick up one of those for cheap. Or you can get a Spotmatic or something...

It probably won't take the Tokina wide angle. I think it's the equivalent of EF-S, which won't work on a film camera. The kit lens won't work either.

well i see the sigma 70-200 will work on film and it looks like the 8mm fisheye should aswell. The tokina doesn't say it wont work on film, but says its recommended to be used on digital.

That KEH.COM has some great stuff. Ebay is a joke.

I've got an Elan IIe (eye control focus) film camera in great shape you can have for $100 plus shipping. Let me know or PM if interested.

I was just on the KEH site. They always have top notch merchandise that I like. And I never shop on Ebay unless I'm buying accessories from Amvona.

I recently picked up a nice minty EOS30 and battery grip for around £70 on ebay - very pleased with it.

well im going to keep looking. I'll look for the eos 3 and i'll keep that elan in mind.

I actually just loaded up the b&w film to my fathers zorki 4 and was playing with it last night. Lets hope I read the incident meter correctly and put the right settings in on the lens.
