what would be a good inexpensive film camera

EOS 3 is still in production and not very cheap. I have a spare Rebel G. :) Where do you live? Send me a PM.

I live in NJ. I had planned on gettin a flim camera till i just checked the checking account. Might on hold for anotehr week or so.

anyway does anyone know if leica screw mount lenses wll fit the russian zorki 4? Would like to find a 85mm lens for it.

Well, thats dicey. Some Leica copies/fakes from behind the old wall have a screw thread just slightly off on the thread. Perhaps the model 4 was from a time after that. It would be surprising if it would be the M bayonet mount.

Film cameras go for silly money on ebay - they are almost being given away. Premium models like the Eos 3 and 1n / 1v / 1 bodies go a fair bit more, but nothing like what they would sell for even 18 months ago.

I'm keen on getting an Eos 1n or an Eos 3 - but in my heart I know I'll never use it.

I'll keep saving for a full frame....
