The 75-300 feels cheap to me. The 70-200L 4.0 is a grate lens. I love the color it's super sharp and it's all in one.... The 85mm is a grate lens but if you want a good amount of zoom I think you will find the 85mm just to be lacking.

Now if your looking for a low price on camera walk around town lens. I would say get the Canon 28-200mm Grate lens it's just as sharp as the 28-105 and here in the US used is only about 250.00 usd

get the L glass. far superior. 85 would be nice for low light stuff however. Always get the best glass you can afford.

I'd go for the 70-200 f/4L then save up for the 85mm f/1.8 if you find later you are really in need of the fast prime. If you are lacking in funds and need a lens for low light, maybe pick up a 50mm f/1.8 for the time being.

I do have 50mm F1.8 and 17-85mm for the time being and looking for something longer. 50mm is too short for the 'odd' concert type of shooting. I ended up using 17-85 and bump up ISO to 1600 or 3200.

I'd get the L lens and save up for the prime later on. Also take a look at the 100mm f/2. It's a great lens for concert photography.
