I just got my "new to me" Mk IIn. I'm working through the controls and catching on to the two handed operation. I have one issue I can't seem to resolve. When I display the images, and have just one on the LCD, I can't move to the previous or next image by turning the wheel.

I have verified the wheel is turned on as it works to move through the menu's, AF points, etc....

When I select the 4 or 9 up image review, I can't move up or down. I'm locked at last image captured. I've looked through the CFn's and Personal Functions, but I can't seem to find anything.

Does anyone one know what I might be overlooking here? I know the wheel works correctly for everything else because I can move around the Menu's just fine.

This body is used, but only for 7K clicks, and doesn't show any signs of heavy use or abuse.

I'm at a loss... Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,

Jesse

You need to hold down the Select button as you scroll with the wheel. This works for all views, 1, 4 and 9 images.

Sounds like Ronald's camera. I tried it out a couple of times and it was a real lemon, and the 7K clicks had been turned back from 277K clicks!

NOT! I saw it had 7K clicks and know Ronald's had that and the new owner would be getting it about now, lol. I too was bidding on that fine camera, a real beauty. You bought a good one from a great person.

Thanks Darren,

This two handed operation is killing me. I appreciate the reasoning canon did it, but sometimes a Cigar just needs to be a Cigar. :)

I really appreciate the help.

Joe,

You had me going there for a minute. Yea this is the one from Ronald. It came in today and I've been reading the book over and over to ensure I can work this thing. That was the only item stumping me....

I'll admit, my heart stopped for minute when I read the first lines of your post:) :)

Jesse,

PM me if you want the PDF of the manual. I use it all the time and the paper one sits in my bag.
