Here are some more from this week taken from the kayak.

These two Coots were probably talking about the crazy coot in a kayak taking pictures of them. Sorry, it is nearly 100% crop.

If you can photoshop the sky into a bit blue, should be perfect.

Nice Elephants. Is that a bullet hole?

Thank you X_tan and Meeko. X_Tan, I've never replaced or colored a background before. May have to look into that. I have Topaz Remask but haven't used it. I haven't used PSE since getting LR either.

After looking lots 400mm / 500mm BIF shoots, I learn that I should get some background rather than a simple sky, which will kill the final photo somewhat.

One from me today :):

Makes a lot of sense. Photoshop Elements frustrates me to no end, but that is all I have that works with layers and Topaz Remask. Here is an attempt.

Thank you both. X_Tan, thanks for the providing the nudge I needed to try something new. There are a few otherwise decent images I haven't done anything with because the background ruined them. I don't know why I resisted replacing a background so much, other than disliking PSE. It may have been a resistance to "faking an image." A photographer friend periodically reminds me that many of the great film photographers replaced backgrounds in the darkroom.
