Nice shots...its a beautiful place...I think I prefer the 2nd shot...the colours are lovely..well done.
If you host your shots somewhere like photobucket you can link them using the the little mountain picture box above..its easier than....re sizing each one and adding on the browse thing...if that makes sense...

Very nice Sue, and it looks like you've made the most of your trip up to Scotland judging by the photos on your website.

Thanks very much indeed for your comments. Has anyone got any recommendations on filters etc that I should invest in for this type of landscape photography? If so what sort on enhancements would they give me? I would usually be using my 350D with my Canon 10-22.

Thanks Joe, purchased my 350D in August. I previously had a Fuji s5500 (can I mention that on this forum?), which gave me the opportunity to learn the basic manual controls and the basics of working with RAW files. There is so much I need to learn now in the new world of SLR....but the learning is fun.:)

I'd definitely invest in a set of ND grads, Lee do a kit, http://www.leefilters.com/home.asp (external link)
Although they are relatively expensive.

Cokin also do a set, http://www.cokin.co.uk/ (external link) are a lot cheaper than Lee, easily scratched, but do the job, if you do decide on cokin, get the P series, the A series are too small for Wide angle use.

Concentrate on equipment and you'll take technically good photographs. Concentrate on seeing the light's magic colours and your images will stir the soul. - Jack Dykinga

Thanks Les I'll check them out. My next concern was going to be selecting the right one's for my wide angle lens, so you have answered that for me too.:)

I like both images...hard to choose.

I think I'm going to have to make a trip back to Scotland in the near future. I have lots of film I shot there in 2000, especially on Skye.
