Thanks ... the building is in Barcelona and was designed by Antoni Gaudí from 1905–1907. These shots where taken on the roof.

Here is a shot of the facade looking up from the ground ...

... and this is inside the roof:

This is my favorite set of your Barcelona pictures. You have captured the atmosphere so well that I can easily imagine being there again. - Dave, you obviously had great time there.

Aye, a good time indeed and I like these shots too. They are simpler and less reliant on subtle light and colour that the others and so suffer less in compression. It seemed very different visiting this time with all the scaffolding but the forms still hold good and they have opened up some more of the internals of the building.

I am amazed! You have quite the eye for a photograph, these are just terrific. There are several that stand out (the last one for instance) but they are all just amazing.

ughhh... a great example of architecture gone horribly wrong.

...designed by Antoni Gaudí ...

Pronounced "gaudy" (Sorry had to. Modernist @ heart) :)

...But I respect it for the architectonic tension it creates and overall expression and for its questioning just "what is architecture"...

If nothing else, it Makes for some great photographs... Thanks I enjoyed them!

These are excellent; I had real trouble filtering out the other tourists when I was there last year. It is also interesting to note that I am not the only person to time their tips to coincide with the erection of scaffolding
