I am going to have a quarter page ad in color in the Hawaii Bride and Groom Magazine. If anyone would like to brouse through my website or blog and give me any advice that would be greatly appreciated :)

Thanks in advance!

Third it. :) I'll vote if you post your favourites. A portfolio is too overwhelming to chose from.

Wow Joanna - there's a lot of stuff to choose from :D !

I did a quick scan of the wedding shots on the site, not spending a lot of time on any one picture because I wanted to see which would strike me as being UNIQUE.... a shot that sets it apart from that of other advertisers I've seen. And the winner is -

I like the B/W on the first screen, B&G are on the bridge, and that HUUUUUUUUUUUGE veil is just blowing out in the breeze. It's different and just appeals to me ;) - Stu

My fav is still that tilted B&W one w/the couple walking away hand in hand, w/the bride's dress flowing in the wind behind her because it's simple, yet interesting. It's a few pages into your gallery. But, maybe for an ad you could use something like the huge veil one. Maybe you should narrow it down to a few choices for us. :)

thanks for the help... I will post my favorites once I can figure them out - I'm sooooo indicisive always. I love the veil blowing but that is a horizontal shot and the ad will be verticle so I don't think that would make the best use of my space... Also the problem with that one is her eyes are actually closed :( Not sure how to photoshop that to make them open.

Obviously the previously mentioned problem exists with all of the horizontals but I really like #1

For a vertical shot I like #2 a lot. The veil one is great too, and I personally wouldn't worry about the closed eyes, it looks like they are about to kiss and don't most people close their eyes when they kiss??

Tiffany, no that wasn't the veil photo that I was previously talking about. I didn't include it because of the eyes closed... Here it is:

I really like 6 a lot too but I'm wondering if it's too casual??

BTW - 5 & 6 are acutally from an engagement shoot but they're in white so I think it could pass for a beach wedding :) What does everyone else think?
