As we approach the end of 2006, take time to reflect on the many blessings you have, and most importantly, give thanks to the provider of those blessings. Perhaps this photo will get you in the reflecting mood.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Nice watch.

Thanks - it's the one I get the most compliments on in my collection.

That is a beautiful photo of the watch there. I am very interested in product photography and am looking for some metallic (reflective) risers like whatever you placed that watch on. May I ask where you got that platform? I purchased a few small acrylic risers (gold/silver mettallic) but they are rather small and only work good for very small items. Does anyone know where I can get acrylic risers that are much bigger up to 30x30"? Thanks for any help.

Canon 30D
Canon 17-85mm IS USM - Canon 60mm Macro USM
Lowel DVcreator 55 Lighting
Bogen 503 Fluid Head w/ 351MVB2 Tripod

EZcube Light Tent - and more.

Well done mate. Nice shot

2 EOS 1 mkII Dn's, 24-70 2.8L,70-200 2.8L,14 prime 2.8L,100 macro 2.8, metz, metz, and more metz...plus a whole load of other stuff that really is unimportant. It all about the picture, not the tool.
Had the 1ds for a few weeks then realised was overkill. Bought 5d and the 400mm instead.

Have you consided just buying a mirror? That's what I did. You can also buy mirrored acrylic on eBay. :)

I frequently post to both. The bug folks (what I call the regulars in the macro forum) have an entirely different perspective.
