Debris along the Amtrak roadbed in yesterday's mid-dayl light. How can the day's hottest sun look so warm? Maybe it has something to do with winter? I am a little too hooked on the Median filter,eh? Ah well, lookit how all of these randomly distributed elements seem to blend into a major chord. Magical. Happy New Year.

Thanks for noticing that framing. I usually make that subtle glowing a personalized finishing for my posted images. As for the signature... It's either scanned in or done on a Wacom Tablet.

BTW, does anyone recognize that metal "C" shaped object on the left? There were a number of them scattered about the abandoned spur which hasn't been used for over 80 years.

Yes I noticed the C on the left. I think that it makes a good color balance and gives more motion to the pic..

Cheers

It's interesting to me that the semi doughnut of that wuddever-it-is has a hole that's mimiced by four other objects on the right. And they all balance re. color and shape. It was hard to pass them up. And it was why I chose the final technique which emphasizes shape and color at the expense of detail and texture (although I did paint some back in along the metal of the "C".
