Photographs are records of life. Pity they don't make music when you put them in a record player. :p

So those are frangipani! I've heard of them, never seen 'em. Gorgeous! They look like they must smell heavenly, too.

I'm just a newbie, so no technical comments from me, but I wanted to say how much I like the first one. The leaves are just as interesting as the flowers, and add a lot of interest to this photo for me.

Tina,

This looks just like plumerias. Do you know if frangipani and plumeria are one and the same?

They are the same. I can never remember if it's plumeria frangipani, or frangipani plumeria. either way, and either name one uses, it is a beautiful flower and a favorite of mine. They aren't related to rhododendron, so far as I know. They are a tropical flower, grown in zone 10, possibly zone 9, in the US. They do have a nice fragrance, also.

Verynice compositions, Tina. I like the DOF, also.

Never mind the flowers - look at the beautiful pattern on the leaves.

Amazing eh?

Those a very nice pics. I don't think that many people would not want to take a pic of those.

I love your flower shots...you are the master though!

You seem to have got a different species to the one I photographed that day...I didn't see the yellower ones.

My inferior shot below..
