Is there any way to tell this camera to remember Function Menu selections? Seems like this should be easy to do, but I can't seem to find anything in the documentation.

Getting frustrating to take time setting up the camera for lighting/scenes/whatever, then the it goes to sleep and I have to start all over again...

Set the camera dial to "P". Adjust all the settings on all the menus to just where you like them. Tab down to the bottom of the main menu till you see Save Settings. Hit the SET button, select OK, and hit the SET button again.

To use your settings turn the camera dial to "C" and you are ready to shoot. You can even adjust different settings during the shoot but when you turn the camera off and then back on again all of your original saved settings are back.

It is one of the coolest yet probably least used of all the S2 functions. It makes it super easy to always start out with the same initial setup each time you turn on the camera.
