Yet another set of Rugby from me. Average light. Edgely Park created a blue cast which I managed to loose with some custome WB. By the end of the game I was underexposing by a stop. Oh and for the record, it rained - Yet again!

A true war of atrition today. Bristol Rugby came away with yet another win depsite concerted Sale effort in the last 20 mins.

There was no 'big' celebration, just sheer exhaustion. I shoot objectively, but I was so into todays game. I normally shoot with an i-pod on and listen to Ennio Morricone as his music moves me and motivates me and allows me to focus. Yes, I am odd.

The kid in the skull cap is Dan Ward Smith and is likely to be named in the England Squad at Number 8 this week.

Anyway, enjoy, comments good bad or even shocking are welcome. Oh and these pix should highlight how bad the lights were at the Bristol/Bath game last week.

Some nice images there Pete - but what is it with you and rain....do you have your own personal rain cloud? :D The 1st one I like, even if it does look as if he has left his face behind as he has sidestepped!! Good to chat earlier today too and glad you had a safe journey up and down the M5 and M6!!

Good to see Dan Ward Smith about to pop up in the England squad though, well deserved if you ask me. And certainly a better option than Corry!!!

Thanks mate.

As soon as I say RU....it rains!

Anyway, likewise. Gutted really mate - wanted to get you in but Sale let us down due to the New Year. Only when I got there were they more than happy for you to come in.

As I said, always another season!

Pete.

In fact the last set of photos without rain that I remember you posting was from the Bristol vs Chester City football - and that was a while back!

Twas a pain that they didn't respond sooner, however again, thank you for asking.

Just been reading the report on the game on BBC (here (external link)) and there seems to be a little bit of grumbling from Sale about the try! And Richard Hill's response is diplomacy at its finest!!

Like the last 2 shots too, esp the last one, good to see Ben Foden getting a good run in the Sale side (even though its not at 9!) - used to play with him at Chester before he went to Sale.
