I currently own a Canon Battery Charger and a set of four rechargeable batteries (this one: http://****/ymgtmq)
, which I love and have been using in an old Powershot for about a year.
I recently upgraded to a Canon S2 IS, which takes four batteries at once (instead of two). I like to have a backup set at the ready. Unfortunately, I can't find the same kind of rechargeables. So I have a couple questions:
1. Do I need to use the exact same kind of batteries in the charger, or can I use another set of Canon batteries in it (was thinking these: http://****/yjwxdj)?![]()
2. Should I just upgrade to the other set, which are "advertised" for the Canon S2 IS? Would there be any benefit in this, other than putting an extra chunk of money in the Canon corporate pocket?
