hey all - usually when i shoot inside, i'm shooting live music, but for boston's 1st night celebration, the Maximum Velocity team was present once again to perform tricks on the box jump, quarter pipe and spine. i had two lenses w/ me, my canon 50 f/1.4 and 85 f/1.8, and i couldn't move around. i shot shutter priority (1/250th, sometimes higher) @ ISO 1600, AI Servo mode, and RAW. metering was usually spot or partial, sometimes evaluative. this was my first time trying this, so any helpful hints for camera setup or technique would be appreciated, thanks!

When shooting action sports you need to show alot more of where they're coming from so it's not just another "guy in the sky" picture. In all of the pictures on the quarter pipe, you need to show more of the actual quarter pipe.

I like the black and white - it feels more dramatic. That would would have been good with a fisheye as well or maybe tilted a bit.
