hey i just joined and i just bought a digital rebel xti, taken about 1000 pics with it so far since friday the 29th of dec. but i have used my film rebel ti for a couple years. but heres a couple quick pics i took. i used a UV and a circular polarizer for some of them. keep in mind i did not edit any of these photos.

cool cars. not quite feeling the teg, but everything else looks nice.

are you still shooting on auto? some pictures are focused in odd spots.

glad you are having fun with the xti

yea well the tegs mine thanks, but i didn't paint it the way it is, and its not worth repainting. its on auto focus, but the only pics taken on full auto were the rolling shots. o and another thing, the website hosting the pics destroyed the quality and even some of the clairity, its odd but w/e.

i hear ya, try putting the camera on the center focus spot. when i first got the xti, the autofocus points were whack.

thanks for the tip, the focus points aren't all that bad. i mean i have gotten some very nice shots with the auto focus, but i'll try it out.

Looking good so far.

Try to keep the camera level with the horizon. The angled-photoshoot-in-the-garage look is a weird photographic phenomena that's sweeping across car forums.

Was the circular polarizer used on the RSX? Probably could've minimized some of the reflection with one, but it depends what sort of look you're going for. Keep it up :D

i did a bunch of the same pics with adjustments on the polarizer, i just didn't post all of them. and as for the angles thing, i do it because it makes the car fill up more space in the picture, less negative space and it can make a photo a little more interesting.
