I seem you use my 7-2 mostly in the summer. The 35 gets more use as I move indoors.

I agree. I keep hoping I'll use my new 7-2/4IS more, but I don't.

I've seen this said quite often.

So when do you guys pull out the 70-200? What do you usually use it for?

Not all that much, but I love it when I do. I'd like to own a 2768666mm lens! lol Of course, I would want it to be 8 ounces and fit in my shirt pocket. I love moon shots, long range shots, just about everything with zoom! Too bad long mm weighs and costs an arm and a leg.

For wildlife and outdoor sports I use a lens over 150mm most of the time. For that reason I voted 75%+. However, there are times, such as travelling or event photography where a telephoto over 150mm never or hardly ever get used.

IMO it depends on what you shoot, I shoot 90% motorsports, so mine is always on my camera.... If I did not shoot that I doubt I would own it...

I tend to prefer to do landscapes so I'm always after ever wider lenses. Many years ago I was after ever longer lenses. These days though I find the lenses I need are either very wide or ultra long. Hence I stick with ultra wide as they're lighter to carry :p

I said 10% because I rarely go above 150 unless I'm at the zoo. I'd like to try and use it more, but generally the opportunity doesn't present itself very often.

Probably more than 10%, but closer to 10 than to 25%.

I don't have a long zoom. I just have a 300mm f/4L IS...
Anyway, that lens is seeing very little use right now; I'm getting into fast primes

I said 50% but right now it is higher. I am finding that if I don't have my 70-300mm IS lens on the camera, I am soon putting it on. Like last night - the 50mm was on the camera but I took it off and put on the 70-300 and went out to shoot the moon. Also I am trying to do some bird photography. So right now, I would guess over 75% with an average between 50% and 75%.
