In Armstrong Woods near Guerneville, CA. Southern tip of the California redwoods, or so I've been told. We visited the day after Christmas in the rain and were impressed enough to come back a couple days later in nice (but a chilly 29F) weather.

I really like the shots. The first makes the people look like lilliputians.:)

the first shot i think could have done with being slightly less path and more tree, and maybe cropped just below the teeny little people ;) the second shot i think is great :)

#3 is my favorite...I love the moss. Perfect weather for pictures in the redwoods, huh?

2 & 3 are my favorites. I love taking pictures of tree canopies. Yours is amazing!

Thanks for your comments. #1 and 3 were taken in the rain and it was pretty dark in the trees. If you weren't along a road or in a natural clearing where you could see some sky, it was just too dark for any shots. #1:ISO 3200 1/30 at 2.8. #3:ISO 1600 1/20 at 2.8 both handheld. These two were converted from RAW with BreezeBrowser with no other PP. The 5D and I both got pretty soaked with no apparent long term damage.
