Traded the gun for the camera. He was about 8 yards before this seven pointer detected me.

Thanks for taking a look. Comments welcome.

I would carry a gun just in case. Have you seen when animals attack? LOL! Great image.

Nice capture Warrior6901.

Themkid, you need to start a thread of your own with those images. Nice photos also.

Thanks for the comments. I use a blind a great deal, but just hunkered down in front of a big oak and in full camo with lots of fox pee to help with the human scent. Already limited out:lol:, so the camera was the logical choice.

awesome pic. any hunter would love to have that hanging on the wall.

mount the camera on the gun, and take the shot, then take the shot. then you can have the pic hanging next to the head on your wall.

J/k It looks like that guy shouldn't be shot till at least next year

I like the frame alot, but would make the outside edge black to make it pop more.

WOW GREAT SHOT!
I'd like to get a shot like that with my Sigma EX DG APO OS 80-400mm!
Coulda filled the whole frame with the head and horns.
I'm with you....no longer Hunt Animals with a Gun...just my Camera.
I like things that way! :)
My "Gun" is also a 10D BTW! :D

Have a look at my Deer pics...still looking for a nice Buck.

So nice that it does not look real -- looks like an animated cartoon. He blends with the trees. Nice shot...
