Hi, can anyone point me in the general direction of a company willing/able to rent out a 300 f2.8 for a weekend? I really need to see for myself what one of these puppies is capable of. Cheers.

Should be looking in the region of about £30-35 a day, or about £140-150 for a week. I already have the 300 f4, so this is the only way to go for me, really. I didn't think £150 for the weekend wasn't bad for a 3 grand bit of kit.
