I have a Adidt wired remote for my 300D which is currently being sold as I recently purchased a 30D. Now I know the sockets are totally different but can you get adapters?? From the mini stereo jack look-a-like of the 300D to the N3 socket on the 30D.

Or just have to sell that and get a new one

Or Sell my Adidt and my canon RC-1 infrared jobbie and get the all singing dancing Canon timer wired remote.

Body: Canon EOS 60D (Speedlite 430ex II)
Lens: Sigma 18-50mm f2.8 EX DC; Canon 70-200mm f4 L
Storage: Sandisk Ultra II 4Gb,
Tripod:
Velbon
Bags: LowePro Fastpack 250 + other Lowepro bits and bobs!

Canon makes an E3 (mini-stereo) to T3 (late FD and early EOS) adapter and a T3 to N3 (late high-end EOS) adapter. You could either buy both adapters or get the T3-N3 and replace the T3 with a mini-stereo adapter. But you'd find it cheaper to sell the 300D remote and get a new remote for the 30D, in which case I recommend the TC80-N3 timer remote, which is loaded with functionality.

You can get another Adidt wired remote for your 30D for under £10 on Ebay (external link). Probably not worth your while trying to obtain adaptors or even selling your existing Adidt remote as they're only a few pounds each.
