Saw this Carolina wren perched straight up above my head. Not shy at all. I know the angle is a little too low but i thought it was cute. :)

All uncropped, only resized and pp'ed.

This is another one singing out loud not far from the other wren. Its color matches the surrounding perfectly.:D

Cute bird Fee! Nice capture, number 2 is my favourite, it's extra sharp! Well done.

Very nice captures of this Wren. I especially like the light in the 3rd image...I have only seen House and Winter Wrens....would love to add this one to my list but we are a little north of its usual range.

Excellent shots Fee. The second one is my favorite. Great composition in all shots. Your shots shows well what a good photographer can do with the Bigma. ;-)a

Best regards

Sindri

Thanks for the kind comment Reyno, Mitch, Seany, Deb, Gary, Sindri. I really appreciate it.

The Carolina wrens were having fun and got within few feet from me at some point. That day i was actually planning to find the Winter Wren i saw on another day but only got a glimpse of her :(.

I dunno, I gotta go with number 3. I like the "happy bird" look, and the way the light is on him (versus the light shadow in number 2). Nice contrast with the sky on 3 as well.

Very nice captures Fee. The fourth one looks very similar to some of our Grass Wrens in Australia.

Great shots, I like all of them! Good job with the Winter Wren, they are very difficult to get out in the open.
