Hey, I'm new here, and I'm really getting into photography. I have a DMC-FZ50, and yes, there are noise problems at higher ISOs, but at ISO 100 and 200, it shoots perfect!

I have a couple photos I want to share and recieve ciriticizm on, but I'll share just one for now:

IMAGE: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v715/kninja0/Lasers/New%20Camera/P1010764copy.jpg

Please let me know what I could do better. I'm working with a one 100W bulb, and a 5,000,000W light that I bounce off the ceiling. I digitally enhanced this photo in Photoshop.

Thank you,
Swift

EDIT:
PS, what you see in the photo is a dragon laser case behind the candle stand, and a laser pointer. Both the case and the laser is from WickedLasers.com
( If you want a 5% promo code from any of their products, PM me ;). )

Good shot- seems to be lacking slightly in contrast. Certainly not a macro - think it should belong in "still life/B&W photography" forum.

Hi Swift, welcome to POTN! You may want to try the Critique Corner when you are just looking for constructive criticism and comments.

Welcome to POTN Swift. Interesting image...the only critique I would offer would be to rotate the image CCW so the metal frame holding the candle is horizontal (and perhaps remove the cap that is cropped at the bottom of the shot). Keep posting.
