Saw this guy in my yard today. He was checking out the birds at my feeder, who immediately flew off when they saw this raptor.

Nice shot, a tiny bit dark. It's not a broad winged, I'm very familiar with them and they dont quite look like this. Can't tell you what it is though.

One more vote for Cooper's. Nice clear shot that could use some lightening and contrast in the bird.

Looks like my bird id skills are about as poor as my photo skills. But I am learning, thanks to the members of POTN. Here is another shot of the bird that I processed differently in CS2 (raw processing).
