This was taken at a basketball match against CNC Old Boys vs CNC Academy (Cardinal Newman College in Preston, England). Basically people who have left college and the current players :) My friend dave was warming up the bench for the Old Boys while other friend shouted "Oi Benchwarmer!!" :) *snap* and i caught the expression :)

I like the concept. I wonder what it would look like with his head hung?

i thought about it too. If his head wasnt facing up, it would create a different mood...

Yeah, that is what I was thinking. He looks too happy to be a benchwarmer as is to me...

I like it, was the word bench warmer inserted by you? If so it's VERY impressive! I would like to see the head down version too, it would create a mood of disappointment from the "warmer" :D

Might convert it to black and white to bleaken the mood even more. There's not much color there really anyway. If there's another pic with the basketball more prevalent, just leave it in color.

Is the noise for a gritty look, or could you use some noise reduction?
Nice job on the bench warmer text and old tape line look!

I Love it with the guy smiling to the camera!!

Just gives me that ''never say die'' feeling, no one wants to be a benchwarmer..
