Not exactly breaking news, but with MS's acquisition of iView Multimedia comes the next version of iView MediaPro. To be released in 2Q of 2007, this new version will take a big jump in price (from $199 to $299), however registered users of iView MP3 will receive a free download of the software. So, if you were thinking of buying this software, now's the time. More info here. (external link)

Also, it appears that you can still get iView MP3 through Peter Krogh's site (external link) for a discounted price of $169.15. How long that will last is anyone's guess though.
