Jumping Spiders are known cannibals, and notorious hunters. I'd say she's ran afoul of an attempt to kill something else that ended up nearly killing her. She was lucky to escape with her life. Even with Four legs, she's stil a deadly hunter and should survive OK. I believe that Spiders can regenerate lost limbs when they moult.
