This is my first post so Hi!

I got a powershot A640 for Christmas and noticed that you can get a lense adaptor to add a telephoto or wide angle lense. These are the only two lenses Canon offer for this camera but I was wondering whether you are limited to these 2 or whether you can add any 58mm lense/filter once you have the adaptor?

Also are the cheap ones I keep seeing on ebay any good or sould I steer clear?
