Looks like the big difference between Suzy's true blue Domke and my black D-T is the belt loop. I hadn't realized there was a "hidden" pocket in front of the front pad, but I see it in mine too.

Do you mind posting a couple pictures of your D-T bag? That will be really helpful. Thanks!

Damfino. I have a May '05 dated brochure that says main compartment surrounded by 4 outer accessory pockets. The 2001 catalog describes it as 7 pockets and compartments, so they may be counting with the dividers in place. Maybe the end pads make the other 2?

Soon as I get the chance. But it's black so won't show a lot!

Thanks! If it's not too different from the true Domke I might just save the money and go with the cheaper route.

OK - here goes. First photo - F-5XB with ThinkTank card wallet in outside front pocket, Delkin 8xAA holder in inside thin pocket and 5D/24-70 in main compartment - dividers at ends for padding.
Second photo - All of above outside open bag. Dividers/endpieces are also removed in this shot.
Hope this helps. No way can I come up with 7 "pockets and compartments".
I've put 5D/24-105 (which is a tad shorter than the 24-70, and that's the nicest thing I can say about it), 420EX, small card wallet, spare BP-511 and Delkin AA case in this. Tight, but doable.

Thanks for the photos! Is this bag the Domke Tamron one?

Yes, it is.

I can't see the difference. It looks just like the Domke F-5XB I saw at a local store. I'm guessing the only difference is the tag?

I'm thinking of cutting the tamron/domke tag off, has anyone done this?

It'll look like this if the tag was cut off:

For some more photos, here's a link to a review of mine I did awhile back. Scroll about 1/3 of the way down the page:

it was only $38 and free shipping, woohoo!

i'll just have to cut that "Domke-Tamron" tag when I get it though.
