If i took that shot, the whole bottom of hte pic would be so underexposed. Did you take multiple shots and stack them in PS?

Not multiple shots, just multiple layers. There are 2 layers - the sky & the car. I reduced the levels on the sky layer to bring out the color & it kept the sky from being blown out.

OK here's the re-shoot.

Now I have to learn how to use the clone stamp. The wet part on the ground is distracting. Any thoughts?

Much better, but...

The wet part on the ground is distracting.

I'd crop it out along with most of the right side of the shot. A person might need to leave room for a ADs type, but that's not the case here. As yourself, "is this a car pic, or a car&bridge pic"?
I'd be happier with some more room at the front of the car, too. Give it some room to "move into"?

Love the first shot and how the background colors work with the cars colors. Nice job.

Clyde, a couple of questions if you don't mind.

Are you using a tripod or handholding? Is it possible to provide info on the shot--such as f-stop aperture and ISO?

Awesome photos.

Thanks,
Joe

The Second shot on the first pag is awsome, absolutly stunning, and im a bfan of your work, personally i feel that the first shot on the first page is to grey ish (cloud etc) the re shoot (on this page) is much much better, and that is brilliant, but the winner for me is the second shot on the other page.

I went back today to reshoot. The only problem was that there were a lot of cars at the parking lot. So I didn't have a clear background. I took this pic instead.

Here's another shot from the same location. Im still on the fence on the angle. I'll have to re-edit a copy w/ a straight horizon & see if that works better.

**BTW, thanks for the tip on the multiple RAW exposure layers. I tried it out on this pic & it worked great.**

Thanks Joe! The first 2 pics below were handheld. I used a tripod on the third pic.

Clyde, thanks for the ifo on your shots. I'm having a hard time getting every thing right. The DSLR's are great but the p&s sure are easy. Just kidding, there are a few shots I took that I really did appreciate. It's incredible the pictures that come from these cameras when you get most or all things right in line. I'm learning it takes patience.....

Thanks again
