I am thinking about stepping up to studio lighting. I have a local camera shop that I do the majority of my shopping at. I have looked at but not tried the Profoto 300 kit which includes 2 300 lamps, reflectors, stands, sync cord and umbrellas for $1399. From what I've read I can't go wrong with these lamps, but I can go broke. Also, rentals for additional units is not a problem should I ever need to do so. Resale value if ever needed is very good.
However, keeping a moderate budget in mind I am also looking at the Interfit Stellar 300 kit which comes with the same equipment just a different make. I am looking for reviews on this item http://www.bhphotovideo.com …EG&addedTroughType=search
I have read of frequent problems with the interfit 150 unit on this site and I must say I am little concerned. However there appears to be no mention of this unit. This kit goes for $599. Please post your comments with regards to your experience with the Interfit Stellar 300 kit.
PS - I have read all the positive reviews for the AB units. I have not ruled them out and I am still reading about them on other threads. There seems to be a plethora of information with regards to the AB product line. Please help me by keeping this thread about the Interfit Units. Thank You.
