Hi,

Was wondering if anyone has experience with one of these?

I picked it up through Ebay after reading some positive reviews. It is a fully manual lens with an EOS adapter. Gives a full frame fisheye on my 10D, but is under $150 shipped.

Good build quality, reasonable pictures (with expected distortion) and a lot of wide angle value for the money. No autofocus and stopped down metering, so it is more of a landscape and still life lens.

On the advice of others, I installed Panotools Photoshop plugins to correct distortion when it is not wanted, i.e. with buildings or other straight lines in the frame.

Seems to work well, but I am experimenting with the settings in the Remap filter and wonder if anyone else has come up with accurate numbers for the HFOV and VFOV for this lens or any other tips on post processing?

Cheers,

Bruce

P.S. Here is a link to shot with the lens. I wanted to see how it handled flare. I used the Panotools plugin and experimented with settings to adjust for distortion.

And yes, I did notice some dust bunnies on my sensor, have ordered the Copperhills cleaning too and Pec Pads.
