Here's sharing a female Penelopides manillae (a Philippine endemic) captured at Mt. Makiling (Philippines) yesterday.
The bird was in the shade and I decided to expose it correctly at the expense of blowing some sunlit leaves at the upper right corner. The scene's DR was just too large for the sensor to cope with, even with RAW.
350D + Sigmonster + Canon 2x TC, 1600 mm, f/18, ISO 400, 1/10 sec (yes, 0.10 sec....
