Hi Ed and others,

The best time to visit our islands is December to March. The climate is less hot, rains have subsided, and all migrant birds are around.

I'd like to note though that birds here are really shy and difficult to get close to because of hunting/trapping pressure and rapid loss of habitat/deforestation. To have a chance of bringing home a sizable number of endemic birdshots, a 1-2 week trip is my suggested minimum. Security is not a problem, and the bonus is that our islands offer a lot of other attractions in addition to birds.

Our birds might be tough to shoot, but there's not a lot of Philippine bird photos floating around, so there's a sense of "exclusivity"....;)
