This holiday was good to me and i got a spyder2PRO and a Canon Pixma Pro 9000!

Once i calibrated my macbook pro i started to try out the printer. I was having great difficulty getting a print without a green or red hue...or the colors were off from my oringinal pic. From reading other post on this fourum i was not the only one.

I tried using Print with Preview in CS2 and EasyPrint Pro plugin and i just couldn't get it right. Finally after reading much more than i liked i found a couple tutorials and very informative post that explained ICC's , Proofing that were a great help.

After many wasted photo papers.... a couple low ink tanks an empty tank... and countless pulled hair from fustration i think i finally got it! Getting the right ICC's and Proofing my image with correct media before i print really makes the job of getting accurate prints easier!

In conclusion i just wanted to thank everyone here at POTN for graciously sharing their knowledge and helping me slove my dilemma and keeping whatever hair that i have left on my head. In my best Wayne's World impression " I am not worthy "

Thanks guys
-Mike

Thanks for saying Thanks. I'm sure the many helpful folks here appreciate the kind words. I know that I appreciate you going out of your way to post this.
