Has anyone here had any failures of any kind related to a RITEK CF card? For that price I might pick up two or three but I'd like some input on their reliability.

Thanks!:D

while I have no experience with the 8gb cards, I do have two of the 2gb 150x cards and they work like they should, i'd reccommend them

i have been using their 4gb cf card and 2gb sd card for the past 4 months or so and it has been just great. i never had an issue with them and they seem to be just as fast as my sandisk ultra II.

Been using the silver 150x 2GB CF card for about 2000 shots without one single problem.
I believe most 8Gb cards are slower than 2 or 4GB cards though, even though they are of the same write speed. Hence I'd recommend a few smaller sized CF cards instead.

Good luck

I've got a 1GB and a 2GB Ridata card, with no problems. I would also recommend smaller than 8GB so as not to put all your eggs in one basket. Can't recommend Newegg enough as a place to purchase your cards.

Been using the 4GB 150x RiData Pro since Sept 06. Its now my primary card (IIRC 397 RAW + JPEG S) but off late I've been shooting JPEG L (my 20D stops counting at 999 :-) ) coz they are easier to give to folks who are not really into photography. I would HIGHLY recommend this card and find no parctical reason to buy the uber expensive SanDisk/Lexar brands. Its a great buy for $68 (AR).

RiTek is not really great on the rebates end though...you've to be tenacious about it.

I wonder how long I have to hang out on POTN before I get as good as Ansel Adams ?
