I am asking in this share as I wish to have the thoughts of landscape photographers. I now have the Lee filter holder and CPL ring. I have an intermediate solution of using an old cheapo glass from a 105mm CPL, which is held in place using the adaptor and the front plates of the holder.

I am wondering which CPL you guys would recommend, I realise there are not so many out there (Lee, Sigma... ?) and your thoughts on how good they are (the ones you have used).

I won't be buying this month, the 500GB harddisk had to come first before my PC sank under the weight of 5D raw files :) but I know I need one.

Neil

I have the B&W 105mm CPL so there's another one to consider :)

I'm sure when I bought my Lee system Robert White were out of Lee CPL's and this was the alternative they offered.

The Lee one comes at a price of £ 185 without the holder for it.
Instead, you could go down the Scott way which is exactly the same IMO.
Scott is happy with his B%W and there is also ....this one. (external link)

I have the same setup with 77mm wide angle adapter.
My choice of 105mm CPL was Heliopan from B&H and I am happy with my decision.
Great combo. Good luck with your filters.

Neil,i think that the quality of the heliopan (ebay) is very similar to B&W.
I`d be surprised if the Lee one is no B&W.:lol:
