Seascapes, Low Tide, Long Exposure

I like the shots, I think I will give that a try sometime.

It's a lot of fun. Tripod and remote release are a must. If you're shooting on the beach, close to the water, keep a close eye/ear out for the next couple waves - a big one could come along and drench you!

Thats what I was thinking if I want to take that chance.

Just keep an eye on the tide tables. We're having unbelievably low tides at the moment, so it's not too bad.

I started slow when I first tried it out last spring, watching the wave action, framing shots, but not actually shooting unless I knew what the water might do at a particular location. Be prepared to pick up the tripod and rush back, even if it's mid-exposure, and go for nights when the waves aren't too high and you'll be fine!
