Just took these pictures today at a signing. These were all shot with available light @ ISO800. Mostly with the 70-200. I know there isn't much variety of shots, but there was only so much to shoot. But I'm open to some ideas to make this even better.

Please critique on anything you can find. Especially with the PP, composition, WB, and any improvments.

I like #4 and #7 best with #4 being my favorite. The photos, at least on my monitor seem a bit on the cool-ish side.

Forgive my ignorance, but who's doing the signing?

Nice series of images. I think the color is a bit cool but OK, it looks real enough to me. You've managed to frame him quite well.

I do share MRaiford's ignorance as to who this is...

Using my uncanny powers of deduction, he's signing a Canucks hat and there's a picture of him in uniform in #1, he's a hockey player but I don't recognize him.

I think you guys are right about the color being a bit cool. I had some difficulty getting the right temperature in ACR where even though the lighting didn't change, setting an all around WB setting made some shots warming than others. Not sure why that was so. Maybe it was colors bouncing off people's clothing?

Person doing the signing is Sami Salo, a defenseman from the NHL on the Vancouver Canucks. #6

I did simple re-crop, post, and dodge to the eyes on #3
Not the best job -- but I did it in 5 minutes :)

Well the WB appears consistent in these and that's good. I would suspect that the problem was the funky lights in the grocery store(?). Probably a combination of temps in the lights.

the WB isn't really "off" -- it just is not white.

As presented, the white value (taken from the brightest section of the coke boxes) is (225,228,222). This is very close to even color -- it's just grey. If you look at the histrogram, it is really obvious -- the top section is just flat.

Anyway, it's easy to fix.
