Also it would good to be able to compare his efforts with your own action images (please post some). Also, that looks remarkably like a Quantum Q-Flash triggered by a Pocket Wizard which is a reasonably expensive set up. I don't think it would constitute 'crappy indoor equipment' if measured purely on a cost basis. Yea, ... totally agree. Personally, I wouldn't mind having that "crapy indoor equipment" (and, btw, it's "crappy", not "crapy") for myself. Pocket wizards and Quantum flashes are not cheap by any means .... I'd be glad to take that stuff off his hands for him so he could get some "better stuff" ..... Cecil

The flash set up the way he has it will not effect the players. Shooting at iso3200 might just create way two much noise for him, the flash is a good fill light. Don't judge someone else, unless you want your shots to be judged.

Croasdail making stuff up More info | Jan 09, 2007 00:02 | #12 L. Morey - don't get too offended. It is just that "outing" another photographer is generally considered a poor practice. I am a big guy, and for me to get some of the shots I get I get really low to the ground. I cringe when I think how I must look while taking some shots. I would hate it if someone "outed" me and posted images of me on the web saying what a looser I was. Rightfully, or wrongfully, I think some of the images I get are worth the embarassement I bring on my kids. At least I hope so.
