Cheerios, my technique has changed some since we first discussed this. I do not have squirrels here for some reason, so I don't have to worry about it. But maybe instead of the feeder, just go out and sprinkle the seeds on the ground in an advantageous position so you can shoot them when they come in. That way, you don't need to feed the squirrels and if you put seeds out every day at the same time, the birds will learn the pattern and come to feed when you put them out and you can get the pics.
