I asked about this yesterday, and while I appreciate all the replies, I came away from them with a further sense of confusion than when I asked my original question.
So I am going to try again, and try to put it as simply as I can and hopefully, dear readers, your answers will be simplistic enough for me to understand, as well.
I have a Canon EOS 20D digital camera. I read on here a while back (and even saw a photo of the photog's setup) that it is possible to connect my 20D camera to a monitor, during a photo session, in order to either view the subject prior to or immediately after the shot. I want to do this since viewing the after shot photo on the tiny camera screen is difficult for me.
I am not looking to Photoshop the pic at this point, or do any other creative stuff to it. I just want to see it right after I shoot it. I don't care about the resolution of it or anything like that. I just want to be able to see it so I can make sure the subject had their eyes open, no extraneous lint on their clothes, etc.
Is this possible to do? I would rather not have to route the camera through a computer hooked to the monitor, but would rather go directly to the monitor.
This is not an EOS Capture situation. My question is very basic and on the very low end of sophistication. I am not looking for something fancy.
Thank you!
