I am coming out to Orlando for a two week holiday from the UK next month and am thinking about purchasing a second tripod which we will use during the holiday and then have when we get home and am also interested in lenses too.

Does anyone in the Orlando area know of any good shops that we may be able to have a look in??

Lisa

I bought my 85 mm f/1.8 lens there in 2005.

I will second Colonial Photo (purchased my Canon 70-200 mm F4L), my Canon 1.4 TC and a couple of bags there. Although not cheaper than online (B&H or Amazon) it is handy to be able to handle the inventory (they are friendly about taking stuff out to play with) and most of the salespeople are quite adept. The inventory is usually very good - and this includes bags, papers and a good variety of tripods/heads. It is fairly close to downtown Orlando - easy to find. I would caution to stay away from the "traps" along International drive that are marked "Camera" and "Electronics"...Orlando is a tourist mecca and as such most of the stuff near theme parks is - well - trash. Enjoy your stay - snap a lot!! Tim.
