Unfortunately there are no remote controls for these cameras.

Same answer. Take a look at the price for the WFT-E1 Canon sells for the later 1Ds, 20D, 30D and 5D and tell me if you want it that badly. Wireless adapters for computers are cheap because they connect to a general purtpose computer that can be told to do all the work. A wireless adapter for your camera would have to pretend to be a computer to the camera, including knowing the camera's protocols, so it isn't a high-volume product. If you really want wireless, look for a camera that incorporates WiFi in the body.

If your at all familiar with radio control, there is an rc version where you can control shutter and zoom. Although I dont believe this is what your looking for I thought it was worth mentioning. http://www.blip.com.au/item.aspx?itemID=14 (external link)

I use an A640 on a 40' mast. I have both wired and remote setups. The remote currently is a servo on the shutter button with a wireless 2.4Ghz video feed to a 7" lcd monitor. When I run the wired setup I have complete control over all functions on the camera via the usb connection and the program PSRemote connected to my laptop. It will give me a real time view of what the photo will look like in high resolution before the picture is even taken. Again, Most likely what your NOT looking for but if interested I'll post a link to what I use.

Here's a sample I took with a lesser camera than the A640 before I upgraded.
