Did you shoot it in B&W or convert it. I like it a lot!! While I'm a real fan of PPing -- I do digital paintings from photos -- #2 is just too soft for my tastes, but I do like the sepia/duo tone technique. Did you mask out the dog and apply speia to everything else, or do something else I can't put my finger on? Very good job. Julie Ford

The fact that you photoshopped the background in doesn't bother me at all. I do a lot of dog portraits taken outside in natural light where the dog is comfortable -- dog park, backyard, etc. -- and photoshop portrait backgrounds in. The dogs are happy, the owners are ecstatic with the portraits and I'm happy that they are happy. Julie Ford
